SEP performs all necessary notifications and registrations to maintain its status as a PCI DSS compliant service provider. Should the PCI security assessment or regular network scans require remedial action by SEP in order to maintain compliance with PCI DSS standards for which SEP is then-certified, SEP will have 90 days to evaluate and implement the necessary actions or inform the merchant that it cannot maintain it's status as a PCI DSS provider.

In the event that SEP confirms that a breach has occurred that compromises the security of merchant's cardholder data in SEP's possession, SEP will promptly notify the merchant of any such breach.

SEP's responsibility for maintaining security of merchant cardholder information is limited to data entered and/or stored on the SEP's system. This responsibility remains as long as SEP holds the cardholder data.
